Drupal Camp PDX 2009, October 9-11

For the latest Drupal Camp information, please visit the Drupal PDX home page.

It's a Wrap

DrupalCampPDX 2008 is over. Approximately 90-95 people in attendance. Thank you so much to everyone who attended and who presented panels. Community involvement made this an outstanding event--in fact, better than anyone could possibly have hoped for. Programming was of an extremely high standard. Social spaces remained largely unused during panels, such was the interest. Participation was high, both from panelists and audience members. An overwhelming amount of knowledge was shared. Many made new friends and connections. We are excited to see how successful this event has been and the overwhelming appreciation from all of you who attended. We look forward to seeing you at a future event and at the regular monthly DrupalCampPDX meetings.

One thing, all members have blogs. Please blog here about your day. List notes you took, tips you learned and what have you. Presenter, please post presentation materials, slides, etc that you would like to share. Let's spread it around.

Drupal ROCKS! Can we get a hallelujah?

Last Round of Pre-Camp Details

We're a little amazed at the momentum surrounding this Saturday's Drupal Camp PDX 08. What started as a few rough ideas for collaborative seminars has now become a full day of content presented by at least 17 individuals from the Portland Drupal Group. But don't let an attempt at polish (or free meals) fool you, this event is still an informal, volunteer-run, community-sponsored collaboration. A few of us have put together a context, but it's up to everyone to fill it with great content.

Wait List and Un-Registering

  • We are Full! Check the tweets on the right for up-to-date information. Right now 2 spots are available. If they go again, individuals can add themselves to the wait list. So far this has worked out nicely for everyone we went on the wait list.
  • Please UN-register (log in and de-select your Registration) if you are not attending. Your spot will automatically be filled by a Wait-listed individual.
  • Wait-Listed Individuals will be automatically notified by email if a spot becomes available.

Directions and Building Entry

  • Directions to the Portland State Business Accelerator. It's a bit tricky to find, so it is advisable to bring a map with you, either a map book or print the map/s we provided, or print a map from your favorite mapping service that shows street names in the area.
  • The main door has to be monitored/locked all day. If you are trying to enter at a time after registration, there will either be an individual at the door or a cell number to call.
