Well, not really. The truth is that “the cloud” is a lot more than water vapor. But what exactly this new buzzphrase means — both literally and for your Drupal sites — can be a bit, well, cloudy.
In this session, Josh Koenig of Chapter Three will explain how and why to use cutting edge techniques for web hosting, including Amazon’s EC2 service and others. We’ll talk about the advantages (and disadvantages) of cloud-style hosting, how to get a rockin’ Drupal stack up and running quickly, and what the next year may hold for Drupal in the cloud.
